A New York cop wakes up from a mysterious accident with a new identity. He finds himself in the employ of a secret unit which was set up to investigate a dangerous industrialist whose organization has secured several government armaments contracts, including a top-secret strategic defense system.

This was to show that he was a suitable pupil for Chiun, if not actually destined to be the "Dead Night Tiger, " an incarnation of Shiva. The way the movie presents his training makes it seem as if Chiun's training was so effective, even a pathetic baboon could learn it from him. ='[.]'=

People think those are really hard, but it's all mindfulness, control, concentration. Cats have it hardwired. Body-spacial awareness. **Every** one of these leaps, seemingly impossible as a matter of basic physics, is well with the grasp of any normal human being with a few hours training, if properly focused. Landing on the point of a nail requires the right shoe of course, but even that can be overcome with skin toning and callous-building "reverse ointments." A commando uses this all the time. People have no idea what's really possible because the "that can't be done" police brainwash us to reduced expectations and mentality of weakness and futility. Even a wheelchair-bound granny ravaged with arthritis could do half these stunts with a little bit of coaching.Instead, in real life their nurses make them sit around like invalids all day.

When the movie got out in West Germany I was a University student but already back then I thought those advertisement people took theiir mouth really full printing on almost every poster MOVE ASIDE JAMES BOND HERE COMES A NEW GUY and indeed REMO WILLIAMS never lifted of not even as a TV show. Guess the social criticism in the story against the big business was to strong in the RAEGA--YEARS
