Diran Odeyemi, Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party, in an interview with ARISE says the issue of zoning in the PDP is topical, but under control, the PDP is bent on listening to Nigerians to select a candidate that will meet the yearnings of Nigeria. That if the perception of Nigerians at large is that the Presidency be zoned it would be zoned accordingly.

The PDP has zoned The presidential ticket twice both to the north and the south, Atiku simply failed to win the northern second slot.
Now is the turn of South East, if they fail too it will go back to the north next time.
When it is zoned to your region try hard to win but if you fail the party should move on to another region

Atiku is a selfish self centered edeeot. I dare PDP to give it to Atiku. They will witness an epic fail. PDP is actually a useless party too. So when it's time for SE, suddenly no one in PDP believes in zoning anymore. Atiku has damaged PDP beyond repair.

The Nigerian political scene presents a very good story line for nollywood. The idea that PDP will win the presidency come 2023 is classic cuckooland. Not because the APC is any good but the PDP have demonstrated what an opposition party should not be.
It will take something dramatic for APC to exit power, not the feeble antics of the likes of and Co. Nigeria is really a joke.

If zoning it to the South will make PDP to lose better than giving to a man who have nothing to give to the country.Atiku go back to APC were you came from and Atiku is not a leader.

The man is not truthful, last election, only Northners was allowed to contest for the presidential primary, point of correction, it has been zone twice to the the North, Yaradua and Atiku, twice also to the south, Obasanjo and Goodluck. Atiku should go and rest, it's time for South East

Pdp were in power in 1999 till 2015 zoning was respected but Yar'Adua's death threw up another southern in Gej, who bastardized the zoning arrangements by contesting in 2015 against common sense. While Acn/Cpc were in position did they ever choose a southern candidate as an opposition party? No. In pdp zoning arrangements favours the north who had only 2 years in power while south had 14 years

What is logical about the statement that Atiku Abubakar made? What is valid in the self service ranting statements that Atiku made? Was this not same Atiku Abubakar who fought ex-President Jonathan tooth and nail to relinquish power to the North in order for him to have an easy way to power by reiterating that “those who made peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable” as such uncharitable and unpatriotic statements consequently gave rise to Boko Haram and sundry insecurity that characterised ex-President Jonathan’s Administration that serious led to his defeat in 2015 presidential election? Atiku’s points holds no water because he once defected from PDP to AC simply for his quest of selfish his political ambition, which he failed to realised on that political platform as it were, while late President Umaru Musa Yar’adual emerged president of Nigeria on the platform of PDP for which he picked Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as his running mate and, who subsequently succeeded him after his demise. If Late President Yar’adua did not die in office would he not have complete, perhaps eight years in office? How is it the fault of the South that Yar’adua died in office as he could not t complete his mandate? Did Atiku Abubakar thought of the prevailing circumstances at all that made ex-President Jonathan to become President? Was it not Atiku untrustworthiness desperations, obstinacy, insubordination that have resulted to his inability to realised his presidential bid? Any reasonable Nigerian would discontinuance Atiku’s claims that the South have produced more PDP President than the the North. Despite betraying PDP quite a number of time, PDP still gave him its Presidential Ticket in 2019, which he failed to prevail over his Fulani kinsman President Muhammadu Buhari, after which he abandoned PDP in the political trenches and went to far away Dubai and suddenly reappear in another election circle like the mythological phoenix as if PDP is his own property.

The political class is only taking care of themselves not Nigerians. The south east should leave the PDP. Support Kingsley Moghalu and through your weight behind him. Ohaneze should support him in full force. Nigeria is not ready for two- party system, if people are still reasoning with their foot. They are supporting the recycling of non-performing candidates just because of tribe and religion.

If this ticket is not zoned to the South, the campaign will be very difficult the PDP and so will be the elections too.

All those Yorubas in the APC or PDP are very weak and prideless. What are we Yorubas getting from both parties APC or PDP. What is our pride been ruled with a fraudulent constitution and all important position is occupied by the fulanis and all Yorubas governors have got no rights to protect the peoples voted them inn. What are they there for
doing nothing and fulanis is incharge of lagos state everything is controlled by the fulanis. What rights did they have they are minority in the Senate/H how come they let's that happens and none of them ever come out to complain about the killings, rapping, kidnapping every day what a shame. Thy are there only to loots and we yorubas are suffering no money no food and the boarder in the sought are closed and the North are open. What are they doing nothing only selling us to the fulanis. I think we must come out and tells them what we feels about them
Enough is enough we can no longer continue the injustice and inquality any longer.
