Winter camping under a tree in -28°C/-18F

Today, I'm back in Alberta Crown Land for another winter camping adventure! Since my second last trip, I've had this tree in mind as a potential shelter. With its low overhanging branches and decent wind protection, it made a great little place to stay! It was very cold out in the evening reaching wind chills of -28°C, thankfully my -30°C sleeping bag kept me fairly warm, and I had a pretty good time! #rockymountains #camping #backpacking
