Ingredients:
Aloe leaf ( store bought gel will not work)
Coconut oil- 200ml
Coconut oil suits hair and skin alike and is also potent in absorbing aloe extracts better than most oils.

Preparation:
Wash and dry the leaf and cut the unwanted edges.
Slice thinly.
Drop the slices in a pan full of coconut oil.
DOUBLE BOILER
It is important to infuse the coconut oil using a double boiler only.
Placing over the direct fire will fry the aloe leaves 😆
And ruin the nutrients.
Boil water in a wide pan and place the coconut oil container in it.
Let it sit for 20 minutes. The color of the oil will change gradually and leaves will turn pale.
After 20 minutes, switch the flame off and let it infuse for up to 8 hours or overnight.

SUNLIGHT METHOD: I prefer infusing oils under direct sunlight as sunlight adds to the potency of oils.
Simply fill coconut oil in a glass or china container and add dried aloe slices to it. Place under direct sun for 3-4 days with upto 8 hours of sunlight everyday.
However, not everyone receives that much sun everyday. So, suggesting the double boiling method.

For hair growth: Add castor oil for faster hair growth.

Storage: store in fridge in an airtight container. Stays good upto 10 days

Application:
Apply in hair twice a week for best results. For skin, add a few drops of essential oils and use before shower for massage.
