Today, my girlfriend got our 22 trd off road stuck deep in snow while attempting to back out of our Steep Colorado rocky mountain cabin home driveway. I went out with the shovel when I noticed she hadn't tried crawl control yet.
The tacoma was backed up to a tree. So going downhill was not an option, selected crawl control in forward, and watched in Amazement as it dug itself out over 5 minutes! It crawled right up out of a ditch, uphill in 15" of snow.
At times, the motor would rev but the wheels were turning just a fraction of a rotation as it studied and searched for available traction, Impressive!

I think crawl control is a great way to do testing with different tire pressures or with different tires. If you find the traction threshold and then you want to test different tire pressures I think it's perfect because you have a very consistent computer controlled speed.

That thing is a beast You can barely hear the engine and it's climbing a steep hill!

I really love the new Platform . I would never buy the previous generation after seeing this new design, it keeps looking and getting more desirable . Very refined and smooth engine and transmission. The currant one is crude in and SO Dated in comparison . This truck really Says Toyota TNGA .... It is about time !
