I love this song, brings back a lot of fond memories, I remember rushing out to the nearest record shop to buy the record single the very first time

I've been avoiding watching this recommendation, because I thought it would show a Melbourne I never knew, which would be so beautiful to see that it would cut me up.
Well it's a great song, and the vid is an important historical document. And it did cut me, but it also *inspired* me to see such a high percentage of Aussies filling our streets. The future isn't written yet.

Back when Melbourne was a decent place to live. I lived in Hoppers Crossing back then. Back then Hoppers and Werribee was its own seperate town not connected to Melbourne. Used to be paddocks of land between Hoppers and anymore, the urban sprawl has connected it all. What a shithole Melbourne has become. On a side note WASP does a more than credible cover of this song.
