NCLEX study plan: Learn NCLEX-RN study strategies and tips that helped Nurse Sarah pass the exam on her first try in 75 questions. This study guide schedule can give you an example of how to study for NCLEX.

The study log above shows how Sarah prepared for the NCLEX and HESI exams while she was a nursing student.

Here are some important points to remember when starting your NCLEX review:

-Don't wait too long to study. It's best to start at least 3-6 months out, but remember that nursing school itself is actually preparing you for the NCLEX.
-Don't wait too long to take the exam. Nurse Sarah recommends taking the exam as soon as possible after you graduate nursing school so that the content is fresh on your mind.
-Allocate around 70% of your time focusing on your weak areas, and 30% refreshing your strong areas. Nurse Sarah explains how to find your weak areas and how to study in the most effective ways.

The NCLEX can be very intimidating for nursing students, but don't waste your energy fearing this exam!

I will take my NCLEX Dec. I started studying since January just stay relax and not putting my self on a pressure status. Reading books and answering questions during my off days of work in the hospital. It's better you pass the NCLEX currently working as med Surg nurse.

I'm 3rd year now, but I'm worried that my knowledge wasn't enough to pass the nclex rn when that happens, the reason why I want to study earlier. 💕 Thank you for this video.
