Sewing - adding bias binding to clothing

Bias Binding 🧵
A narrow piece of folded fabric, cut on the bias, used to cover the edge of garments. Bias binding is stretchier as it is cut diagonally (on the bias) and the cross grain fibres are not as tight.
Attaching bias to garments is super easy, how I have done it in the above video:
1. Open the bias up place one edge along the right side of the fabric, pin & sew in the crease.
2. Fold bias binding over onto the wrong side of the fabric, encasing the raw edge of the fabric, pin & sew.
3. You’ve now hemmed the fabric, I love bias for when I insert elastic, like into this romper, as it’s a really nice finish.
