AAP 'Assault' Row: Cops Get S.O.S. Call From Kejriwal's Home | Swati Maliwal Assault Case Updates

The Delhi Police received two calls said to be from AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, India Today reported on Monday. The caller claimed she was assaulted by Arvind Kejriwal's PA at the chief minister's official residence.

The police received two calls this morning at 9 am, sources told India Today. The caller identified herself as Swati Maliwal and claimed assault by the Chief Minister's PA Bibhav. Whether she was assaulted or not can be confirmed only if she files a complaint. So far, there has been no comment from either the AAP or Maliwal.

The police received the calls from the number that Maliwal uses. Acting upon the calls, the police reached the chief minister's residence but Maliwal was not there. Sources also say Maliwal may reach the Civil Lines police station to file a complaint.

According to protocol, the Delhi Police cannot enter the Chief Minister's house without permission. The police are currently investigating the authenticity of the PCR calls and attempting to gather more information about the matter. No written complaint has been filed yet.

We cannot go exactly by her report because it is seen in the video she was not in any danger when she made the call even if there was some altercation before, she was physically ok and was very angry saying that she will “show everyone” and was threatening to make people lose their jobs. This shows her complaint is at least partly motivated by vindictiveness and shows clear exaggeration & fabrication. Her bruise on face & leg do not match her claims of being brutally punched & kicked in abdomen, chest & pelvis. She needs to be completely honest if she exaggerated. Was it an ego tussle? It is better to tell the exact truth instead of trying to punish someone with vindictive exaggerated allegations that will make her lose her credibility also. This is something that the party could have handled without police being involved. Police was involved for vindictive reasons only, as there was no threat to her safety in the video as she is in the care of Delhi police security guards who are being very polite with her.

A sitting Rajya Sabha MP has been assaulted at official residence of Chief Minister Kejriwal who himself is in prison on serious charges of money laundering & who is on rare conditional interim bail. The case needs to be investigated as the alleged culprit is in jail under serious money laundering charges. Even the US based Khalistani terrorist Pannun has said that he gave over $16 million to Kejriwal & the assaulted MP has returned from the US.
