Only real OG’s will remember the Rose shield and invisible shotgun in BL1.

Not only did you not explain how to do it on this video, you also didn’t include the link in the video description. Fail. 0-2.

As a former modder myself, i think a welcomed compromise would be Gearbox limiting the damage stats to the gun's barrel parts. That way if i want my Lob launcher to shoot out longbow grenades with an 11.whatever fire rate that drops cash per kill, the damage would still be fixed. Red text- Wait,
Sidenote: What is the point of us being able to see different components of the guns we have if we can't swap parts around? Honest question....

I wouldn’t use modded weapons but I wouldn’t mind having modded class mods..

Personally in BL2 after i beat the game legit every time with every character the game kept me going by making modded weapons for my own personal use and seeing what I could make. It kept me playing honestly bc I found it fun to say make an infinity pistol that shot infinite nukems

I want a sandbox mode where you can create your own weapon stats and even more fun challenge runs

If I remember correctly the Borderlands pre-sequel had a machine in game that allowed you to combine weapons to try and get a better one. Some game mechanic like that would be cool in bl3.

I still think we need the ability to create our own items by taking a base item and taking parts off one item and being able to added them to a different item of the same type.

My counterpoint to that is, it also would be good to go through and use through third or fourth character creations because I don’t know anybody who wants to have to play through the entire game just to level up another character to be able to play with it. Once you go through the story once it’s not really fun having to go through it three more times

Yes alot of people say they ruined the game but if modded weapons balance out soon on borderlands 3 it could carry borderlands for a few more years cause whether them players who hate mods want to admit it or not mods kept borderlands 2 alive from 2016 to 2019 I seen it myself people love mods even if they are op because it actually adds to the game it is call try not to crash mode where you shoot so fast you try to not crash and you also get to just have new rarities

I have no problem with modded weapons, but I remember when killing bosses like Wotan was an achievement. This is just me though, I'm a type of player that likes a challenge in gaming, one shotting just takes the thrill away for me and to me feels like less of a challenge. Modding isn't bad though I think it's fun to experiment with this game once in a while. I'm only saying this due to experience because I've modded games in the past and after a week or so of still playing the title I just felt bored afterwards, so I basically learned the hard way. Its that feeling you get where you have everything you ever wanted so there would be no reason to continue. This is only my opinion though so it's perfectly fine if people want to do this or not, it's their choice. Mods are something I'll experiment with but I'll continue to play normally though because I like setting goals myself, just something that keeps me playing because I will always have something to aim for.

There are some really good ideas that people have had on this issue. I have also seen some really crazy "God like" items that people have on the bonus stats on items and I am almost certain they are modded. I am lucky if I get an item with 2 decent stats, let alone have 3 kick ass stats. A couple suggestions I think would help and not break the game is that maybe they could have anointments drop separately so you could choose which anointment you wanted to apply to each item. Second is that maybe they could have some kind of system with a machine or maybe even a token that drops off of boss's that would allow you to reroll items with a chance to get better stats. I'm just a casual player and I don't have thousands of hours to spend farming for certain items in hopes of a "God like" drop on an item. I got burned out on grinding for gear, I just want to play and have fun, isn't that why we play games? To have fun? I want to enjoy and experience the game, not spend hundreds and hundreds of hours farming for specific items just to I can kill Boss's or run the Takedown 25% faster and easier.

Honestly my friend has a bang stick so powerful that he can one shot any boss anyways we talked about how he feels like One Punch Man now and that it doesn’t ruin the game but more or less it’s an amazing failsafe

I love modded weapons First start their fun and are part of borderlands history every games had him second Mayham 10 is broken as hell Unless you got God tear builds And a time and Energy to farm out every single item I’m gonna use modded guns

A ingame ability to brake guns into parts and then make your own gun would make farming better. If you could only take one part from a broken gun you would farm more to get all the parts you need, like in elder scrolls games where you can brake weapons for enchantments and Smith new stuff

Modded weapons has always been around in borderlands and it never hurt the game tbh it helped out alot cause people like powerful weapons that can do crazy stuff with but always remember each there own

Bl 1-2 gibbed user here. Games are fun to play, bl the game was just fun enough to play over and over, making friends was the core thing that kept me coming back. I could reload a save and reload the game over and over. Joining random people with stealth mods and carrying them for a while before dropping every gun in the game. Blowing their minds and making some friends. We would spam 100s of guns in a spot to break map and wander around the undiscovered map, me and a home played for 100s of hrs trying to make a new grenade or gun perfect. Any body who dupes most likely has a modded weapon. Bl should have an ingame system to make custom guns from parts you've got on hand. Tldr modded 🔫 r for the boys.
