Hello, My name is Michael Nielsen. My Wife Kate & I created Outdoor Therapy as a passion project - to help you relax, unwind and sleep better. Outdoor Therapy (also called Nature Therapy, Forest Therapy, Ecotherapy, and Forest Bathing / Shinrin-yoku (森林浴) originated in Japan in the 1980's and is known to be very beneficial for Mental Health.

My many years of Videography and Photography experience combined with my Wife's 20 years in the Mental Health field as a Therapist make this channel a kind of natural culmination of our combined interests and expertise.

It's 38° degrees outside at night 🌉 your cat and dog are curled on the sofa. Your bed 🛌 is warm and you only have enough strength to put that book down, take off your reading glasses 👓 and turn out the warm glowing light. The wind howls the tune of the ancients time to sleep. Goodnight... 💤 😴

You may remember times you didn't study and regretted it afterwards and thought to yourself "Man, if only I studied for that relatively short period, I wouldn't feel so bad about myself now." Now is the time everyone. Study hard and try and understand what you're studying, but don't forget to take regular breaks and stay healthy!

This reminds me of Adak Alaska where the wind would blow 80 / 90 mph and gusting up to 120 mph for 3 days.
