Premier League referee David Coote has been suspended by the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) following the emergence of a video in which he makes derogatory remarks about former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp. In the video, Coote refers to Klopp using offensive language, calling him a "German c***" and describing him as "f****** arrogant." This incident has raised significant concerns about referee impartiality and professionalism within the PGMOL.

The Football Association (FA) has also launched its own investigation into Coote's conduct, highlighting the seriousness of the allegations. The FA's inquiry aims to determine whether Coote's comments constitute a breach of conduct and to assess the broader implications for referee behavior and accountability.

Adding to the controversy, another video has surfaced allegedly showing Coote snorting a white powder during the Euro 2024 tournament. This footage reportedly depicts Coote in his UEFA-funded hotel room, raising further questions about his conduct and the oversight of referees during major tournaments

2 yellow cards to same player in the same passage of play! 2 second yellows for delays of game to same team, but ignored in other instances. How is anyone to retain faith in PGMOL? Poor call after poor call….

Biggest question is....When did the PGMOL know about the Video? That question has to be answered. Records show Mr. Coote, after the Burnley game in July 2020, wasn't given another LFC prem game for 3 years 8 months. Other Refs did plenty. Not an unreasonable request IMO.

Maybe klopp was such a handful on the sidelines because the refs and PGMOL were bottle jobs. Cause and effect, he felt his players weren't being protected or wronged in some way and stuck up for his players. Does that make him a "C***" when the refs themselves are the cause of those actions? It's not a chicken and the egg situation, we clearly know the refs are the source of the backlash they've received.
