6:20 your spreading fertilizer with it and spraying it in the front of the machine. Your the reason it’s rusting away.

@ 9:29 3 hours? I see two bolts that could have been removed in 3 minutes. Do you rinse the machine down after fertilizing?

I just got the 29 hp EFI version and have experienced some of the same problems you have. It had 1 hour and was told it was extra models never sold and been sitting in the showroom. What a crock of 💩 I got to the dealer and took a look at it and it has paint coming off the deck, rear wheels look yellowish and some of the bolts are rusted. The kholer EFI engine looked weathered. I'm a Kawasaki guy and had no other choice and thought EFI maybe able to save me some money. I tested it and it turned right on no issues and felt great. I paid $10, 000.00 and put it on my trailer and couldn't be more happy with my purchase. The first 10 hours and really started noticing the stick adjustment knobs whobbled loose, and it didn't want to turn on. I should have taken it to my dealer, but didn't want to lose the weakened waiting for it. I don't give up quickly and traced the no start to the stick levers not being tight enough to keep the switches locked. 1 hour later the cutter disengage and then some how started working again. I decided to replace the stick control lever switches and PTO switch with the eBay HD switches. No more problems 😁. I used blue locked tite on the adjustment control stick knobs and seems to be working great. Overall I love the cut and have had no engine issues 20 hours later. It's a tank and wish the hydro's were smoother. I wish it had a suspension seat and will be updating it with one. It's just a great cut and 61" velocity deck is just awesome 👍

when things happen on a brand new machine, yes is frustrating. also because the cost of $600.00. but $10.000.00 !!! I got a 36 inch. freedom scag with Kawasaki engine since 2008. one some coil replaced and transmission fluid and filter and regular oil changes at this time burn some oil but not smoking while mowing but now I have to replace a o ring on the trans axle but still running fine. my second one was a tiger cat 61 inch with kholer command 27 hp engine since 2010. just after use a need to running the engine one to two minutes to cool of little bit to avoid a sound like a gun shot because can damage the muffler, it happen when was brand new but scag replace for free because was under warranty. just last year I got a scag tiger cat 61 inch. with Kawasaki engine EFI. fuel injection. this engine if you need to reduce the speed it start or make shaking so bad so I don't like such thing and I bring to the dealer scag and complaint about it and I exchange for the scag cheetah. SCZ61V-31FX. with Kawasaki but not EFI. l got natural aspiration and not problem with vibration just normal vibration. some issues with the carbon canister on the hole the like fieltro or some kind of fabric to prevent the debris get into the canister, this things are missing for wherever reason and also some grass some grass escape and throw to the left while mowin and make the flower beds looks awful. also some times at the time to start it blow like blue smoke. is rare but at least three times within 7 months make sound like a gun shot at the time to start. but we will see what happen this year. be safe all of you. thank you.

Kawasaki and B&S 31hp - 37hp are solid for the Scags. 2018 - 2020 models are proven even all the other manufactures are building more the top end mowers with them now including Yamaha. I own the 2020 Cheetah II 37hp it’s a tank compared to my JD 997 Diesel. Don’t ever get a Kohler engine if your wanting HP and torque! Commercial guys am I right of course.
