This song by "The Poni-tails" was released i believe in 1958 but for some reason i have always thought of this song as a 60's record, hence why a lot of the pictures are from the 60's, it was only after i had made and uploaded the video i realized my mistake, i'm only human lol, but never mind the pictures, it's the song that's important here, and this song reached number 5 in the UK charts. The band Formed in a suburb of Cleveland.

My mother told me that if she'd realized that the 50's was going to become "THE FIFTIES", she'd have loosened up, and had more fun with it. But, it sounds like she made the best of it to a certain extent,  given what memories she's told us. Love the song!!!

I'm 16 and I freaking love this song, and many other oldies as well! I wish I could have lived back in the 50's. It seemed to be so cool!

One of the most charming little songs of its era.  Well sung, great arrangement and backing.  The middle eight is remarkable.  Really dig this tune...

I wrote my comment about a month ago and came back to see what else was written.  Since I was born in 1949 I had the advantage of being able to hear so much of the music talked about here.  Certainly I was young in the mid 50's.  But I have two older sisters and they loved music.  It's amazing how those songs and times are still with me.
On the down side, born in 1949 meant I was the perfect age for Vietnam, 1968-69.  That aside, there was still some good music.  I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day tomorrow.

This song is right. I was born too late. I was born in the wrong generation. God, you don't even know how much I would give up to go back in time to live in the 50s where music was actually music and not made from computers and where kids actually went outside instead of playing on their phones.

Thanks for bringing us this wonderful music. The images are enjoyable despite the era. Those really were innocent times, or maybe it seemed that way because we were not yet experienced and jaded. It really takes me back.
