Join Trinny, Jemima and Molly as they explore the latest additions to Trinny’s vast summer wardrobe, including a few pieces she just can’t make up her mind about. When you’re not sure if a piece deserves a permanent place in your wardrobe, it’s important to keep versatility in mind. If you can think of ten different ways to wear it, it’s a keeper; if you can’t, you might have to say goodbye. But even if you’re trying to cut down on spending or impulse buying, there are other ways to get excited about your clothes – sharing and swapping with friends can create the feeling of a limitless wardrobe, while putting your own clothes in storage for a while can make them feel brand new when you dig them out again…

See inside Trinny Woodall’s impressive and expansive wardrobe with Closet Confessions. In each episode, Trinny deep-dives into a particular section of her wardrobe with the help of Lucy from the Trinny London team. Everything you wanted to know about styling, clothing, fashion and even how to organise your wardrobe can be found in this series. From coats to sequins, jewellery to vintage pieces, take some Trinny tips on your tour through Trinny’s (fifteen) wardrobes.

The larger size, and it actually looks more expensive, when slightly oversized. I think it is the effortless effect of a flowing shirt, you can still see a person is slim, but it flow better.

I can sit here and watch Trinny all day. I have been watching you and susannah since your "What not to wear" and " Undress the Nation" days. You never cease to amaze me, wish you could start bringing people with different body types and skin complexions to show how to wear colours and dress different body types.

For some people buying things is kind of a retail therapy. They usually don’t know even how to style them. But for you Trinny, it’s so obvious that it’s joy. You know how to style outfits; they look fabulous on you. Some people should control their buying habits but you are entitled to buy fashion items because you know how to style them. Just like Iris Apfel, you will still spark joy with your colours and style at her age. We ❤️ you.

So cool you're team is researching low cost coord options for us (Sorry Serena, but many if us love your clothes but can't afford them!). I've been looking, too. And I really appreciate your honesty when looking at your purchases and thoughts of embarrassment. This is very important to consider and address. But without shame. We can find the sweet spot of enjoying fresh, new clothes, keeping classics, and moving other pieces out for others to enjoy. Your tutorials help immensely because you are open to those situations we all experience at one point or another.

Jemima, I do the same thing!!! I always take pictures while I window shop then think and look about it for a while. If I really like it then I go for it! Also, I learned from Trinny that if I buy something, it has to go with at LEAST 5 looks in my wardrobe! Sometimes if it's just 3 looks then I still go for it ;) Love you, ladies!

I try to have a plan to manage the lifecycle of my clothes. Most of my clothes are for day-to-day wear and I hope to get at least 30 wears out of them (or 20 washes for tshirts and equivalent). I pick items which will work with other pieces I already own. When the item is starting to show wear/tear, I’ll either sell it off cheaply, or give it away. If it’s showing a lot of wear it will go to the fabric recycling. If it’s a special occasion piece, I’d try to buy second-hand and resell after I wore it…or just rent it so I don’t waste closet space warehousing it after the event. I try particularly hard to remove items from my wardrobe before bringing new items in so the wardrobe isn’t ever-expanding 🙂

In the end, sitting on the cupboard shelf in her pretty pink dress, I thought Jemima was wearing the yellow slippers. She wasn’t, but they look so wonderful with the pink! 😍

I think being intentional in your choices is what’s important, like you say. I’m really enjoying picking up great styling tips from you Trinny! X

I’ve lost weight and some of my things are too big so I’ve been buying from charity shops. I’ve bought two marvellous pairs of trousers. I’ve also been buying furniture from the British Heart Foundation. I love thinking that all these things are getting a second life.
