Something I found amazing with Lemmo's playing during here comes the sun was that the song is normally played with a capo, but he barred it and played the melody with his 3rd and 4th fingers. Such skill.

Beautifully played Michael but George Harrison to my knowledge never had a black Country Gent, I played with the Beatles at Wembley Stadium NME awards in 1964 the guitar he played there was a walnut type brown! keep up the good work really enjoy your playing!

While George's CG looked black in the old films, it was actually a dark walnut finish. I thought it was black too when I first saw it.

I had one of these, a 1963 model, but it got stolen in Amsterdam in 1992. Still haven't got over it. Such a beautiful guitar.

No words to express how much I loved and miss the Beatles. Lemmo plays such great homage to them. So nice to hear.

I think that I enjoy these videos as much for Jen’s laughter as I do for Lemmo playing.

As cool as Gretsch is for being associated with George Harrison I can say the coolness factor for me went ballistic after watching Neil Young play his going full distortion with Crazy Horse.

One of my favorite guitars of all time! A good friend of mine who passed away 4 years ago always wanted one but as you said, they are very rare and hard to find so he never succeeded in getting one. Thanks for bringing this one out ML! Thanks also to Jen for making these videos awesome!

The sound of that Gretsch is amazing.... Great job of playing it.... Chet still my all time favorite... He knew something about playing and guitars... Mr. Guitar R.I.P.

Lemmo, nice playing on those Beatles tunes, seems you had the "feels" in your soul...great sounding guitar.

What a gorgeous rendition of Here Comes The Sun

"Binding rot" is what its called. It's caused by the plastic breaking down, getting brittle as it looses gasses in the old plastic. It can actually spread to other guitars. playing I watched it twice!

Reminds me of the Chet Picks on the Beatles album :) Beautiful!

Beautiful Gretch. If my 1966 Guild Starfire V ever went away, one of these would do. Nice to hear the Beatles tunes carry on... It was certainly good times back in the day as each new album or single was released... the anticipation, and reward, ... if we did not have the Nam war hanging over our heads, the 60s would have been perfect.

Mr. Lemmo! Would you consider doing a tutorial on your arrangement of Here Comes the Sun? I played this for years in an acoustic duo, and I'd love to learn this solo guitar version! Thanks for all your wonderful videos and extraordinary playing skills!
