There are many reasons why grids are useful, and yes some people will say they are not needed in graphic design. Sure. I don't always use a grid, but there are many instances where the graphic design you're working on, would benefit from applying a grid.
If you're designing a magazine article, poster, logo, business card or whatever it is, keeping in mind the use of grids will surely benefit you. I talk about why that is in the video today.
Aside from keeping designs orderly and neat, I really like using grids to create visual hierarchy, it makes things so easy as a designer.But what about you, do you use grids for your graphic design artwork?
