15 conductors incoming, and 17 total right there. Single box I believe is 11max. All grounds inside count as a single conductor. Extension allows about twice that...

Besides the volume of the receptacle, this is probably alright. Besides the missing screw...

Looks like an attic junction box having an outlet that's powering 3 or 4 outlets and 3 or 2 switch boxes below

It has an extension ring so by code it increases its wire volume capacity by 2. So it should be good if not anything bigger than 10 or 12 awg

Each grounded (neutral) conductor and each ungrounded (hot) conductor, originating outside the box and terminating inside the box, counts as one conductor

Wife fill also depends if you only use a shoe horn or rubber mallet. Extra wires possible when you use two shoe horns and a rubber mallet to get wires in a box. Was doing volunteer work at my sons school buildout. Old electrician in charge forgot how to perform wire calulations. I wanted to use either a 10 by 10 junction box or foot long trough in each new class room. Several circuits were added towards end if job. To ended up using three 4 by 4" square extension boxes.

Structure is over 100 years old glad to see the mess is at least made up of romex wire and not knob and tube . That’s the positive here.

Its leaga, l 1 4S box 1 4S extension ring, 1 receptacle ring cover. If it we're me, i would've installed a 5-S deep box and 1" inch receptacle ring

But isn't that why they put all the knockouts in there, so you can use every one of them correct???
