For anyone wondering why the performance gap is so far, it's not Samsung's or Qualcomm's fault, it's 100% miHoYo not putting the effort to optimizing the Android client.

At WWDC 2014, we were all in for a surprise: the announcement of a new 3D graphics API called Metal. According to Apple, Metal can be up to 10 times faster than OpenGL ES (or more accurately, it can generate draw calls [data transfer to the GPU] 10 times faster) and is only available on iOS devices with the latest-generation A7 processor.

Commenting from a 15 pro max: Honestly, an iphone will mostly oftenly, if not always, have the better frames per second regardless of game. But really, are we being fair here? Because there's clearly some form of bias: like, why does the iphone version has Metal api, 120fps cap (which isn't even available on windows!), better lightning, hell, even controller support. Now, of course it'd be an easy win for the iphone, when the competitor itself is badly optimized and runs at a higher resolution and ppi, and that's why I think this type of comparison is totally unfair when you know how much better the s24U can perform in just SO many aspects

Try testing on Wuthering Waves since it's more demanding than Genshin Impact. So viewers can see a much, much clearer/bigger gap.
Edit: Wuthering Waves upcoming 1.3 update will include controller support for Mobile. This way you can play the game without your fingers covering the screen when playing Wuthering Waves.
