Quite an exotic switch design this time, hope you enjoy :) .

Those switches are definitely weird, but I give the designers props for efficiently mimicking more expensive switches in a very creative way.

Tactile Gourd Spring sounds weird, but still not as weird as the original name for IBM Buckling Springs, "Catastrophically buckling compression column switch and actuator."

I suspect, because it's a "snap-past" system, that more frequently used keys will wear the plastic part that the spring snaps past, so that over time, the most frequently used keys will eventually have a lighter feel.

That spring design, you see that design both "straight" and "clicky" variants in the contact spring on flashlights and other electronics. Wonder if there's actually some inspiration, influence or it's just convergent design.
