Sheriff's Daughter's Contact Info NOT Saved in Judge's Phone: Report

According to reports, the contact information of the daughter of former Sheriff #ShawnStines was not saved on Judge #KevinMullins' phone. Letcher County Sheriff Shawn 'Mickey' Stines is accused of fatally shooting District Judge Kevin Mullins in chambers following an argument.

It had been stated by some in the town that the wife had left the Sheriff because of domestic violence a week earlier. So if they called the judge for advice in a restraining order or something, and the wife used the daughter's phone because she knew her husband checks hers regularly, all this would add up.

Judge was helping daughter and mom escape their abuser. They couldn't call the police because the sheriff is the police.

The answer can be pretty simple. At one point it was reported that "they're trying to kidnap my wife and daughter ". Did no one think the sheriff used the judges phone because the daughter would not answer a call from him? So he used judge's phone to talk to daughter. Especially if this was some kind of DV situation? And whatever she said triggered sheriff to shoot judge. Maybe she said judge was helping mom and daughter escape sheriff. And sheriff was having none of it and blamed judge.

The sheriff is a wife beater and the judge was helping her to leave the sheriff, it always a very dangerous situations of domestic violence for the intervening authorities.

The judge may have told the sheriff about a restraining order that he was going to sign for the sheriff's wife and daughter.

What if she was not answering her Dad but she answered for the judge. Maybe he felt the JUDGE was helping his family get away from him,
"kidnapping". Anything is still possible but the accusations of being with the daughter seem unfair until we know more.

When this first happened, everybody was coming out of the woodwork defending the sheriff and accusing a murder victim of being a pedophile against a family friend. Despicable.

The actually rumor going around the local area makes the most sense. These shows are just stringing it along with the same information. From someone locally - The Sheriff had issues sleeping due to issues with MS. He allegedly was up for 11 days and not sleeping. He was having issues at home with his wife and daughter. The Judge allegedly was helping the mother and daughter get out. The Sheriff may have been tipped off to the plan and confronted the Judge. So after he shot the Judge he said, the most odd statement "They were trying to kidnap my family". Rumor mill only!!!!

They never said his daughter's number wasn't in his contacts. They said he dialed his daughter's number manually as anyone would because it would be quicker since you aren't familiar with his phone. When you press send THAT is when her name would show up in his contacts.

When this first broke out, one station reported that the sheriff used his own phone to call his daughter, but she didn’t answer. Then he took the judges phone and dialed his daughter and this time his daughter answered the judges phone. That seems more plausible to me. That the sheriff was furious she wouldn’t answer his phone but answered the judges phone. He snapped. Bad decision though.
