I considered a T490 when I was buying my new laptop, but the T480 extended battery and capability of ram upgrade sealed the deal for me... The only thing I think could be better is definitively the screen.

The T490 is close to my T480S in terms of size. How's the screen quality, is it FHD or the WQHD? The T480S has a dull mediocre screen at FHD and I was wondering if Lenovo didn't cheap out on the screen. Nice review mate.

The T490 has the hot exhaust vent on the right side, instead of the left side. RIP mouse users.

I bought a used Lenovo ThinkPad T490, and when the keyboard light turns on, I turn off the laptop and restart it, the keyboard light turns off. Is this normal? And sorry ❤?

Why do people keep saying 2 Ram lots so 64GB RAM? When the 8th Gen i5's only support up too 32GB of RAM?

I don't like the heat vent on the right as a right handed person. Also prefer the T480 for its dual battery setup. Then there is the upgradability. The downside is size. The T480 is noticeably bigger for an ultrabook. Makes me miss my T440s sometimes.
