mr1upz FINALLY has a good ol crack at ranking Fossil Pokemon. I'm ranking all 26 Fossil Pokemon as the people have been asking for years and now I finally deliver and conjure up a Fossil Pokemon tier list. (Or whatever you'd classify what I do as, mostly just a video portfolio to be used as evidence to get me sectioned one day.)

Somehow there's only 26 Fossil Pokemon, could've sworn there was more. But in all fairness, if I spawned an Aerodactyl or even a Kabuto alone I'd have packed up the whole shop and never barred myself from ever picking up a rock again. Most scary Pokemon going potentially for how unpredictable they could end up. Who knows what lies on the other end of that fossil?

Not sure if this has been done yet, but I would love to see a ranking of every branched evolution. Every Pokémon that has more than one choice for a final evolution. That'd be neat to see.

Cradily and Lileep being 1 and 2 was certainly unexpected, but I'm here for it! I actually really like Cradily and Armaldo, I just think the designs work so so well. Also we still haven't gotten the mythical Rock/Ghost typing...

5:03 funnily enough this is kinda what the Galar fossils are based on, old archeologists would often mix up parts, like juvenile and adult parts or even completely different animals which the Galar fossils take inspiration from, so sometimes they would get dinosaurs having some… well let’s just say strange anatomy.

Shieldon is my favorite fossil. I was only 9-10 and my first Pokémon game was Diamond. I got Shieldon and was like “oh my god they have a dog Pokémon named Sheldon” (I was a dumb kid back then lmaooo) but when I got a dog, I got to name him Sheldon. He sadly passed away the beginning of the year but shieldon will always be my favorite because of Sheldon ❤️

That makes sense though, cause as an Amaura, it hasnt evolved or "grown up" enough to learn any ice type moves. Both Tyrunt and Tyrantrum are rock / dragon so ice type moves are devastating to them. Taking out the only other large dinosaur Pokémon that knows how to kill you in one hit with an ice beam seems a smart move.
