no it all depends on your isp what speed have they allowed you, what are you paying for ? Next how far are you from your exchange. As I am approx 1.miles away I am supposed to get 8mb, but i get only 5mb max.

Another cause are you downloading wirelessly if so you never get full wack unless your extremely close to the router. For downloads i use a wired connection.

Try connecting with ethernet to the router and do a download test too.

ppl, awesome routers like these are not for just getting on the internet. these are for ppl who really know their networking stuff and do stuff that probably involves a home server. The lil speedtest you do online speed all depends on your ISP. upgrade to Cable if not Fiber for speeds over 24mbps. you dsl guys are stuck with the 10mbps and down.

Depends how they say it in each country USA rowter we in uk say rooter but still Speke router!! Correct if I'm wrong many have their own pronunciation.
