Apple Watch Ultra and the Series 7: The Truth

The Apple Watch Series 7 was one of the most underwhelming Apple product launches for me in recent memory. I've used the watch for almost a year, and while it's the best smartwatch on the market, it still leaves much to be desired. The good news is that in just a few days, Apple hopes to revitalize the Apple Watch with an all-new Apple Watch Ultra, but will it be enough? Let's talk about it!

In the end, it's just a watch. I don't need more than one Apple Watch and I don't need to upgrade it every year. I'd rather save up the money for a Rolex.

Thank you for the video. You pointed out pro’s and con’s fairly. I have had the Apple Watch Series 4 since it’s release date and only problem with it is battery, it’s currently at 68% health. But it still nearly lasts a day.

Really strange. My Series 7, nearly a year old, still 100% battery. Battery lasts a day with always on display and 36 hours or so with display off. Beats my previous Series 5 by far. I rarely charge to 100% though and ran into low battery mode < 5 times.

I still have 100% on my series 7, it's definitely your charging habits, keep the battery between 40% and 80% and never let it die or get completely full, I charge mine once a day

I bought the Apple watch 5 wifi only 2 years ago and I still use it. I feel like there is no need to upgrade my current watch. I am actually on the edge of stop using it lol. I just don't find it necessary for day to day life but more like a nice addition to my "tech" cravings.

still rocking the S4. depending on how much the 'Pro" cost, i might just send my watch in for a battery replacement and keep it using it for a few years or untill apple changes the watch design . it still does what i need it to do and has not slowed down one bit.

Weird, I have had the Series 7 since the day they were released and my battery health is still 100%. My 13 Pro is 94%.

Why did your model wear the watch so the crown could not be used?

I’ve had my Titanium Series 7, 45mm, about a year also and just checked my battery health. Not much better at 92%. I use Clockology for 3rd party watch faces, so many choices there.

Should give some credit to Garmin and their Fenix and Epix range. Especially before calling apple the best smart watch

I’ll so glad you mentioned about how bad the battery life has been. I used to get so much better battery on previous models!

Sadly I agree the Watch has been my favorite items since it came out. But this last year I’ve gotten a little bored of it and more tempted by non-smart watches.

Just check my battery health seeing how’s yours has depleted. Mine tho is at 91% so maybe just an issue with yours

I just got my first Apple Watch Series 3 in December 2021 gift I love so much it do everything I did need it’s my secondary device and when I’m not having my phone out example work and the battery health for my Apple Watch Series 3 is 100
