I have a Maxon D&S II from 1979 (Army green square box, true bypass with normal switch) and this one labelled OD-802 (Lime green with OD-808 style switch) and while they sound similar, the older pedal probably has 25% more output volume with gives it a more versatile range. I really wonder if it's normal but can't fin any comparison videos of the two versions. Both sound excellent but I prefer the older one for this reason.
