I've been to FedEx Field. It was an absolutely horrible experience. Our parking lot was basically a rock quarry. We had to walk through the woods to get to the SIDEWALK that led to the stadium. Making it worse it took us 2 hours to get out of the lot after the game. Never again.

It's not the team's owner alone. It's the NFL ITSELF! Why don't they have minimum standards around the stadiums and their facilities. That's totally disgusting.

The owner will just threaten to move the team if they don't pony up tax payer money for a new stadium, and the people will go for it, but don't you dare raise taxes so we can improve schools.

I live less than half a mile from FedEx field. Been here since the early 2000s. When I first moved here during game days there was no way you could get parking on the streets. The crowds were huge. There were shuttle buses running from the stadium to metro stations and it took 30 minutes to an hour just to go 5 miles to the store. Today? Hardly any traffic. Plenty of street parking. Traffic is light. The whole team situation is sad. And I also think the name change had to happen but I think there were a lot of old fans attached to that name which was one of the few things hold fans of a horrible team together. Now with the Commanders nickname it almost feels like the team is an expansion team trying to attract new fans.

Professional sports team owners are able to claim losses on up to 90% of the cost of running a team. They don't really give AF about the fans, the players, or the communities they claim to serve. They simply want the write off.
