FROST IS COMING! HARVESTING VEGGIES BEFORE THE FROST!

We live in garden zone 9A and one of the challenges of gardening at this zone is the presence of frost and freeze warnings. It is not winter yet but temperature have dropped below 36F, which can be harsh to most tropical veggies that we like to grow in our small garden.

We harvested some lettuce, malunggay leaves, some ponderosa lemons, and green mustard. Kangkung did not survive the frost as the leaves are brown now (almost looked burnt).

Love Lettuce specially the Romaine good for salad. Daming pang malunggay sarap. How I wish I have garden in the winter hahaha dito wala na.
