Gotta give it to Shen. Gary Oldman gave me the most entertaining (while also being intimidating) experience out of the three villains here. Case in point, the scene where he practices exactly what he’s going to say to Po when he sees him.

I love his first interaction with Pō.
Pō gives him a list of titles and feats and Kai pauses like, “holy shit, I got acknowledged?! Thnx!” Then they both proceed to vibe check each other! It’s gold.

1. Tai Lung - Tragic Backstory. You feel bad for him and wish he could have been redeemed.
2. Lord Shen - Mustache Twirling Psychopath whose death was satisfying to watch
3. Kai - Force of Nature who seemed unbeatable.
