Is this setting really worth it?

There are arguments that Visual Sound Effects is beneficial to those who aren't just hearing impaired, but is it really worth it? With a lack of stereo audio, a drop in frames, and the overall clutter...I can't see why any pro would want this.

You can see boats and reboots from miles away. To the point where u can’t here it

I use it and it's really useful in early game and finding people in bushes or corn. I pretty much only play pubs so small zones don't happen often

Idk if it’s just me but I have this setting on during stacked endgames and I don’t even notice it

But if your in a fight or 1v1 endgame and he's popping a medkit it helps

I use Visual sound effects everytime, and its very good in early and mid game cuz there are not many people around you but in end game it can sometime become a problem!!

It’s good for casual players but competitive players in stacked endgames it becomes useless

I have the setting on during early and mid game then turn it off in endgame

It may be pointless in scrims but in pubs its rlly useful to see where and when things are happening
Plus you can see if they're healing so u can pressure them

It’s 100% useful because I have a pretty good mic and sometimes when I can’t hear people with my mic I can see footstep on the visual sound effects. And sometimes when someone is like 50m away you can see the footsteps so it’s kinda OP in my opinion

I used to use this setting, but I stopped after a while due to the massive fps drops you get when using it.

its so good midgame fighting you can tell exactly how muxh they healed

and btw this setting helps you if someone is there offs pawn/early game so yes it is worth it

It shows stuff on your screen even if its a bit out of audio range and it shows the direction for everything. it also helps you know exactly how much someone has heald during a mid game fight. It is very worth it

I used to use visual sound effects UNTIL I started playing Arena/Zonies with small zones. In early game and dead mid games, it is VERY useful.

i use this setting and it has helped me a lot. the reason it isnt annoying in endgames is bc when you play with it for long enough your brain starts to block it out when its not needed, there have been a lot of times where im just running to zone or whatever and some kid in a bush has tried to sneak up on me and failed.

my ear is not very good at picking up 3d sound so if you are not closed minded and used this settings for a few hour you would understand it and get the information you need.
