Jiu Jitsu family here! My ten year old has been doing it since he was 3!! And my other two kiddos take it as well. We absolutely love it!

I have a fifth grader also! (My oldest) We don’t personally use Five in a Row, but I agree that they don’t outgrow a love for good, living picture books. The impact they can have is amazing.

My daughter has a planner and she uses it a little even tho I make todo lists for all my kids we loved 5 in a row. We loved learning about space!!! I think it’s awesome wen another member of the teaches a subject. Karate and Surfing are awesome for PE!!! We do PE but it’s just wat Sport or physical activities my kids are into.

How do you decide your kids assigned reading books? Do they have to complete anything after they have read an assigned book? Do you feel this takes away at all from them choosing their own books to read?

I have a daughter that is about to turn 5 in September. You have inspired me to try FIAR with her🥰 I'm not very familiar with it. I was wondering if I should start her on the More Before Five in a Row ages 3-5. I saw they had one level right underneath that for ages two to four.

I love your channel, thank you! Question. I used BFIAR with four of our kids and it was easy at the time since they were all on the same stages. How do you use FIAR plus simply Charlotte Mason curriculum, with so many levels to teach one on one? I have 8 kids that I am homeschooling ❤
