I wanted to give a final push on a project I've been working on, but I was very close to running out of space on my Synology NAS, so in this part of The Eric Experiment, we'll go into my new UNRAID NAS build.

I was in the same situation, but I decided to stick with Synology and found a used 12-bay unit on eBay.

Don’t forget RAID isn’t backup, though, it’s possible that multiple disks will fail or the NAS is damaged due to an unforeseen event, so you still need to back up critical files somewhere else, such as another NAS or a cloud-based backup service.

But Krusader does show the transfer speed, just click the down arrow on the transfer popup.

Hey awesome video! I built a NAS in the ATX version of that case last year. You might want to consider getting a SSD cache drive to make file transfers quicker.
