The test in California was at a horse race track in Berkeley. They found 200 track workers and their families with positive early readings for Covid, so their on-staff doctor prescribed Luvox (the original trade name given by Abbott Labs). The results were as described above. Fluvoximane is a generic, made by several publically-held biopharma companies. It does have some side effects, generally minor. There are more tests currently being run, on a larger scale, but the preliminary findings are, to say the least, very encouraging! I just hope that, should this receive FDA blessings, that the manufacturers don't kick the current 60 cent-per-pill price up to $60.00! To me, that would be price-gouging!!!

I hope that young people can steer clear of SSRIs and SNRIs as they can cause permanent sexual dysfunction in some cases and unpredictably. It is called Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD).

I'm curious if fluoxetine would be the same as fluvoxamine in Covid-19. I've been on 20mg of fluoxetine for years. I have not been vaccinated for Covid-19 and have not had Covid-19. I wonder what the percentage of those of us on an SSRI have had Covid-19.
