I love that guitar lute. Although it sounds like a classical guitar, the aesthetics has that historically mixed feel of old and new together.

Bought this guitar based solely on this video. It arrived yesterday and I am not disappointed. What a fantastic guitar.

The original players of the Lute used to stand playing the interment using a strap. This is probably the reason for the creation of the Guitar so as to allow you to play while setting. The curve added to the side of the guitar was made to rest comfortably on ones knee.

Rob you transition to non-electric very well! Bravo!

The whole world of guitar needs a mashup of classical/nylon string and shred. The classical guitar needs an injection of modern cutting edge playing styles. Rob is the man to do it. I already am doing it. It's why I've bought a Lag hyvibe hybrid.

Nice "Glute, " as we used to call them. The Theorbo, a related instrument, is awesome. Thanks

I wonder how people in the Renaissance would have reacted it to Metallica...

It makes sense that they make one, but I literally didn't know this existed, just wow.

The soundhole on a Lute is actually called a Rose! The Theorboe is another fantastic baroque instrument to check out. It's about 6 feet tall, if you haven't seen it before so that should definitely be an incentive to see it.

Wow, so guitar lutes are perfect for Metallica acoustic parts. I'll be looking forward to Rob's upcoming album of lute-guitar rock covers.

I actually wanna start getting stuff like this. Building a taglharpa from scratch would be kinda neat too. Chris Cornell played the mandolin so hey why not
