The military style made me smile. My parents both served in Europe in WWII, and when I was little I slept under Army surplus wool blankets. They were the same color as the inspiration jacket.

That was such fun to watch!! Love the wool blankets. They turned out terrific! Sitting here watching you in my pjs, when I should be doing my sewing. I'm forever buying items at our thrift store to remake into something different. Right now I have torn apart a quilted jacket to remake into a travel bag.

Great video! What wonderful projects! Fantastic idea to use wool blankets. New wool fabric is Sooo expensive and challenging to find. One caution when washing the blankets…do NOT use Woolite detergent! It’s chemicals are all wrong for wool, weirdly. Check out knitting channels for good wool wash suggestions. Polyester and acrylics are fabrics I no longer want in my life for many reasons!
