I feel bad for Sprig, as we can see, she meant everything to him. Sprig thought of her as the big sister he’s never had, I’ve had a family member die before and I know how it feels to lose a very close friend/family member. The way Sprig is crying is just heartbreaking, which is even more heartbreaking when he thinks Anne is gonna be ok.(which she came back to life)

Honestly, Amphibia made me feel a bit better about the fact that my own storywriting can get rather abstract and uh.. **metaphysical.**
I will love this series forever.

This scene would have been even more tear inducing if Anne's parents we're there too, imagine seeing thinking their only child giving her life to save both Amphibia and Earth but having to see her die and not growing up to become an adult like them, but hey at least she comes back to life minutes later.

Sprig didnt even cry when he fell out of a tree with a black eye, (Ivy on the run), but he was just mostly surprised..but this moment, he cried. That just shows how much this was to him.

I have to say this whole thing is just straight up tough and very well played out Sprig admitting that Anne is his everything but fact that despite being there for like 123 3 1/2 months or so and then see your friend disintegrate it’s just heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹.
