Michael Burry has nerves of steel. However farmland in the Great Depression was a disastrous investment especially if it was leveraged by mortgages. So bad that even many of the banks which mortgaged farmland went under. So a word of caution for turbulent times.

Farmland values and stock values will only increase based on the assumption that the global population continues to increase. This isn't an assumption that will hold true if you follow the population growth rates
