Launched in 2018, Brightline connects Miami to Orlando, moving riders through the sunshine state at speeds of up to 125 mph! With a flight landing in Miami and a cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale, we needed a way to commute between the two areas. So we thought - why not try the Brightline train? Since pricing was good, we actually ended up booking their premium class of service - so join me on my train journey we check out what it’s like to go first class on high speed rail in South Florida!

I compared Brightline economy and premium all the way from Orlando to Miami and it’s true on the longer segment with premium if you do receive a full meal plus snacks and drinks on the train plus in the lounge. And it’s not exactly full meal. It’s more snacks and drinks, but it’s enough.
