Thank you for addressing this anxiety-producing error - The Douglas County Tax Commissioner has been in trouble recently. Now this. Very scary for home owners here.

Good video. 1 correction though. The part about getting the most recent sales to use as comps. Values are adjusted using previous years sales. So as follows; 2023 values use 2022 sales, 2024 values will use 2023 sales and so forth. So again, to appeal the 2023 assessment you would use 2022 sales, not sales from 2023.
