The mathematical journey of dioxins through the cow

Показать описание
What do cows and mathematics have in common? In his talk "The mathematical journey of dioxins through the cow", Jan-Louis Moenning shows pictorially how dioxins enter the cow and what effects this has. To do this, the cow is not only reduced to its essential components - blood, fat and one or two organs - but also presented as a mathematical equation. Jan-Louis Moenning explains here how this works and what dioxins are.
