In today's acrylic landscape painting tutorial we paint a calm summer pathway with beautiful warm light streaming over our rock wall, wooden door and voluminous foliage. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint trees, foliage, sunlight, stone, rock texture, a doorway. grass and of course how we put all of those elements together into a cohesive landscape painting.



Acrylic Paints:
Green Gold, Naples Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Mars Black, Titanium White, Cerulean Blue, Cadmium Red

Other Materials: 8X12 inch canvas - HOWEVER, you are more than welcome to use a larger one, the techniques will translate well, A small dish for water, Paper towel for excess paint

Ive been to this door. It was spring going into summer. Pathways draw me down their roads and to their doors. Once in a dream i drove for what seemed like over two hours into an ice tunnel that went deep into the mountain. Everything was frozen. At the end was a door . A huge frozen door. I knocked and the person who answered looked like me. She seemed trapped and was holding an infant. I had a conversation with her while she seemed to be fearful of someone else hearing us. I planned to rescue her as i woke... Anyway Thank you for this excellent demonstration. I will use what you have taught here...
