The best thing about this gx 100 demo is that I got mine right here on my desk. I haven't own a digital processor for over 10 years, I'm more of a tube Amp and analog pedals person, but I bought the gx100 some 4 months ago to try something new and for my backs sake and I'm a happy guy now!

Interesting demo. I'm not a big DSP guy myself, but at this price point the features area super deep and it sounded good to me. It's really hard to argue against trying this for $600.

I love my GX100! Setting up a parametric eq and setting a high cut/low cut makes ANY modeler sound WAAAY MORE authentic. I got some MONSTER tones dialed in. It's worth every penny of $1000... for $600!!!!

Reading the comments. Some folks are expecting BOSS to make this unit with all the features of the GT-1000. That’s not the point. The point is the price point. Some things have to be left off. Though when you consider the Bluetooth and touch screen, it has features not on the GX-100. At $599, it’s a great platform.

FINALLY!!!! BOSS did it right and released a unit that is better suited for gigging and has all the features that make sense and none that don’t. The GT-1000 was just too complicated and not practical for many players. Most importantly, the amp sounds finally sound GOOD and no longer have that BOSS “digital artifact” that just never sounded right to my ear, especially going direct. I have stayed away from the BOSS multi-effects units as a result, but this one will make its way to my board soon!! Way to go, BOSS!!! 🤘🤘

Boss has been sounding 80s since the 80s.
They make such powerful and versatile effects processors but their presets still sound like something an 80s metal cover band would use.

Great Job Mitch...This BOSS GX-100 is one SERIOUSLY WELL THOUGHT OUT and TECHNICAL device for musicians.SO SO MANY WONDERFUL FEATURES are in store for buyers of it!!!! Input sensitivity, all the modes, easy set-ups, up to 15 effects in a AMAZING device again that just doesn't want to stop giving one any and everything that ya could need.They also have come SO VERY VERY FAR with sound and tank built reliability that's it is almost Mind Numbing to me Patches Galore surely await, and ENDLESS CAPABILITIES and TONS OF FUN are all at one's fingertips and Imagination !!! I would REALLY LOVE TO OWN ONE OF THESE ASAP....But I would probably never quit playing ya'll...STAY SAFE OUT THERE AND....ROCK ON, especially if you snatch up one of these babies at such a SUPERB AND AWESOME PRICE As always, thanks again Mitch for such wonderful videos and explanations of GREAT GEAR....And who doesn't just LOVE CANDY????
