Took a 2-week tour of "the best" of Europe 10 years ago with 1 carry-on! (On and off a bus, cobblestone walks, with no hotel elevators.) It was amazing! That carry-on fit the bill. Had to pack for 40's in the Swiss Alps to 90+ in Rome. Truly a trip of a lifetime. Enjoy France, Lindsay. It is so picturesque!

I love your use of throws and blankets. I bought two holiday throws at the Dollar store for 5$ each and made Christmas stockings for my 5 grand kids. They were great. One pattern for the stocking and the other for the cuff. Put a few bells in the bottom and they loved them👍 I also bought 1$ ornaments and painted their names on them.

I love using things In an unexpected way. I think that’s kind of the essence of creativity.

For instance, I wrap small gifts in fat quarter fabric for my sister because I have a lot of fabric I’m not using and she sews a lot more than I. Then I “off load” a bit of fabric in a useful way.

I received the stencils last week - and they are so much fun to use. I have been doing layouts on a bunch of pages in my sketchbooks. And painting small is so much easier than filling a huge page. Thank you for all the information in this video.

I have found that you can often find sheet sets in Marshalls or Winners that are much cheaper to buy than the comparable sized amount of fabric at fabric stores. They are great for larger projects. If I need a new duvet cover set, I will shop for sheets instead. I live in Canada, so I don’t have Marden’s readily accessible (1.5hr drive away) but that’s a great place for inexpensive sheet sets, too. I am a math teacher and one time I found a set of sheets at Marshalls that was covered in graphs and formulae. It was $15 for a king sized set. I bought it and covered the scuzzy cork board in my classroom. Then I used the leftovers to make math themed pencil cases for the teachers in the math department.

Thanks for the sale. I bought the soft pastels class yesterday and am halfway through with the first lesson. I have cheap pastels from Job Lot and an artist loft set so they are pretty hard but I had a grab bag from my one in store trip to Blick in Providence RI that has 4 Rembrandt soft pastels and one is almost white like an eggshell so that has helped me bridge the color gap, I did order the 72 set from the recommended supplies and that’s coming in today so should help with the other lessons. I went to look at my progress today and was blown away by how good the sky looks, and that’s using cheap product. I can’t wait to finish and show you.

Got a hair cut, my hair takes about 3 months to grow till I have to cut it again! The weather has been nice BUT winter is coming back according to the weather reports so it is not Spring yet! Spent St pats day at my sisters for dinner.

Happy St Patricks Day! Another great video. I love watching/listening to your Sat Chats while doing things around the house. I'm glad you mentioned using other things instead of the Sketchbook Floozie templates. I have a bunch of scrapbook templates and came across more at an antique shop/flea market type place that I thought "Oh, these would be a good substitute!" For $2, I could pass up a good deal. Really frugal, right? 😃
