My roommate in college took care of a rescue for a few years and it was an amazing snake. The shoulder massages were great. 10/10 handleability.

Weirdly, the size wasn't ever an issue. It spent a lot of time free roaming and never got into trouble. I'd never recommend a big snake to someone, but it wasn't in any way difficult to handle or manage.

It was an eager feeder and came up and grabbed a rat in my roommates hand before he could finish taking it out of the bag. Oh man, getting that rat out of the snake, removing it from the bag, and feeding it back to the snake was an experience 😅
