The Russian Defence Ministry on Wednesday (October 11) released footage showing Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu visiting a plant in the Russian city of Ulyanovsk that manufactures military transport aircraft.
Speaking to military commanders and industry figures, Shoigu said that demand for transport aircraft has continued to grow due to Russia's military campaign in Ukraine, and said their workload now exceeds what the Soviet Union faced even at its most intense time.
