Mike Olfield visitó el volcán Teide y quedó muy impresionado, le inspiró esta composición cuyo sonido me parece fabuloso, esta música acompaña muy bien la sensación que a mí también me dejó la subida a su cima, y estas imágenes son un resumen de mi grabación en esa ascensión al cráter.
Una experiencia inolvidable, ver amanecer en el pico de este volcán que desprende vapores de azufre, y que técnicamente, aún no está apagado.
Son asombrosas las gigantescas lenguas de lava sólida que descienden por su ladera y que en estas imágenes se pueden distinguir muy bien, también es asombrosa la visión del infinito horizonte con el mar de nubes en cotas muy bajas, pero sin duda, una de las imágenes que llaman mucho la atención, son las sombras triangulares que proyecta al atardecer o al amanecer sobre el paisaje y sobre la atmósfera.
Esta subida la realicé por la cara del volcán que parte de Montaña Blanca, con descanso nocturno en el refugio Altavista, para salir de él, aún de noche, y poder estar en la cima con la salida del sol.

An unforgettable experience, seeing the sunrise at the peak of this volcano that gives off sulfur vapors, and that technically is not yet extinguished.
The gigantic tongues of solid lava that descend on its slope are amazing and that in these images can be distinguished very well, the vision of the infinite horizon with the sea of ​​clouds at very low levels is also amazing, but without a doubt, one of the images What attracts a lot of attention are the triangular shadows that it projects at dusk or dawn on the landscape and on the atmosphere.
I made this climb by the face of the volcano that starts from Montaña Blanca, with a night rest in the Altavista refuge, to get out of it, even at night, and be able to be on the top with the sunrise.
