Hi Friends!
Here’s my Southern recipe for Oxtails. This is just one of many ways that I cook them. Since I am the inly ine in my household who loves oxtails I don’t get to cook them too often.
My seasonings are just a guide and you’re free to tweak it to fit your preferences. Some people add a tomato paste to theirs, but I never do.

Crockpot Southern Oxtails

Ingredients
3 lbs beef oxtails,fat trimmed
1 tsp Browning and Seasoning Sauce
2 1/2 tbsp Worchestire Sauce
1 tbs Adams House Purpose Rub
2 tsps Cajun Seasoning
2 tsps thyme
2 tsps onion powder
1 tsp white pepper
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbs unsalted butter
2 tbs better than beef bouillon
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
1/2 cup Trinity (bell peppers,yellow onion, and celery diced)
1/4 cup green onion , diced
1 fresh garlic clove minced
3-4 dried bay leaves
1/2 white onion, sliced
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 tbs of cornstarch
Pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)
3 tbs chopped banana peppers (optional)
2 tsp Louisiana Hot Sauce (optional)
