Boeing: "Thanks for ruining the company. As punishment you'll only get $267 million. Now... lets do some layoffs to get our stock price back up."

Not enough! John Barnett the whistleblower was murdered; these CEO's should be in jail, not allowed to retire with their Golden Parachutes!

Retiring is not the same thing as taking responsibility.

Don't let these people off even if they leave the company.

"Stepping down" means they retire with their fortune and avoid any blame

Typical, they are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people and just get to walk away with a big wad of money.

He'll probably leave with millions in severence and no penalties for leaving a key strategic company in ruins for other people to fix.... the American leadership way.

That's what happens when you put profits first. This is a systematic problem. That is happening to all private companies in the US

Once again corporate CEOs use the "Get out of jail free card" by just "resigning" and dodging all responsibility.

Rich people truly believe their job is the equivalent to an entire human life, and that by sacrificing their job, they’ve done the equivalent of jail time. Jail time is still necessary.

Good riddance. Boeing doesn't need any bean counters making their key decisions. If they don't replace him with an engineer, the company will likely never overcome their problems.

0:37 So you stepping down is about giving the board notice, not because of your massive failures to maintain safe and reliable aircraft.

They need to replace the board and many other executives; just the CEO is a bandaid.
