Yeah, I’m 1000% sure that Bierce murdered Agatha.

In Bierce’s secret diary, she mentions that a man named Victor taught her how to summon Malak. But in order for the ritual to work, a sacrifice was needed. Bierce then makes a comment about her maid having a young daughter.

Furthermore, in Elementary Evil, a secret note reveals that if a child meets a sudden and violent end, their soul can become twisted with rage.

Agatha looks like she’s covered in burns. Burning someone is the most popular way of sacrifice.

This would explain Agatha’s insane hatred of Bierce.

This was an amazing cutscene. Malak showed he wasn't really powerless at all, and he made Bierce look like a fool from her and Doug making him look like a fool. It was also great to see the monsters from the previous levels return, especially Agatha who got some hits on Bierce and the chance to humiliate her too. And Malak Revealing to Doug about Bierce's history was awesome and leaving Mama Bear to finish Doug off was cool too. Also Mama Bear calling Malak "Dear Malak" is interesting too, because Agatha calls him Daddy, and The Reaper Nurses call him Lord Malak. Things are getting more interesting.

Bierce is an awesome character, and I think it shows there’s a chance she really isn’t actually evil

GUYS HEAR ME OUT!!!

So you know how the rings can harness the powers of Malak? Well the fact that he can make clones of himself could be hinting at a new ability for chapter 5 to make clones of ourselves. Think about it, the enemies for the next chapter are hinted to be mannequins of some sort and don't seem to be backing down in numbers.

That or I'm just sniffing too much soul shard dust lately...

Who's Malak's VA? I love his voice so much, calm yet so intimidating and scary

I love how in this game there are really no "good" characters.

We already know the Protagonist was a douchebag whose whole motivation is redeeming himself.

Bierce may helping Doug, but she has very selfish motivations herself and doesn't care if we live or die (and yeah. she totally killed a child for her own ambitions. So she is not a good person.)

Malak is a demon, Plain and Simple. and yet I can't blame him for being angry with Bierce as when it comes down to it, Malak upheld his end of the bargain that Bierce herself made and is now trying to get out of it to spare herself the damnation that she arguably deserves.

If I were in Malak's place, I'd be pretty angry too.

If I never knew how the story gotten deep, I should have made myself some popcorn!!! I hope we'll get another cutscene similar to this one in Chapter 5
