Years ago my 4 year old female cat developed a large cancerous lump on upper shoulder area. The older Vet we used removed the mass and washed the wound out with bleach. He assured us the cancer would not return and she's now 15 years old and still cancer free. Never heard of this before!

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer (10 years ago now!) at age 40, I began a holistic regime. High dose IV Vit C was suggested. I did not use it in IV form, but incorporated it into my daily life at 2, 000 mg along with many other supplements (Low Dose Naltrexone is one...also beneficial for our pets in the treatment of cancer and other ailments). You can also stop giving annual vaccines/boosters, flea treatment and wormers on your pets skin. Too many pets thesedays are getting tumours and it's no wonder why with all the chemicals 🙁

1) Dosage -- what is the recommended dosage in mg per pound? Is it 5mg to 1lb? 10mg to 1lb?
2) What are some of the risk factors with Vitamin C intramuscular ?
3) Do you have a recommended list of high-powered vitamins/supps that we can get to treat canine cancer? Including dosage levels and risk factors?
4) Why are so many vets fighting holistic care?

Interesting…Dr. Paul Marik, One of the nations best ICU doctors, discovered that this was helpful in preventing humans from dying of sepsis. He also used it with a great deal of success in the current pandemic.
However, because it’s cheap and doesn’t make anyone a lot of money, it doesn’t get used much.
Never thought it would have a veterinary application like this. Thanks Doc for letting us know

When my dog was diagnosed with mast cell cancer it was my priority to get him vitamin C. I picked his holistic oncologist based on that she used vitamin C iv therapy. But was I shocked that she charged for a treatment for a yorkie 5-7 times that of what it cost for a human, 10 times for a larger dog... I ended up not getting that treatment simply because I could not afford it and I couldn't subject my sick dog to trips across the state every few days. I was only able to find two vets in the state that would administer it. I resorted to getting him subq vitamin C at a local vet and I started making liposomal vitamin C which is supposed to be very effective. My dog lived about a year past his 4 month predictions so it was somewhat successful with other supplements and diet he was getting. I always wonder whether the iv therapy would make a difference.

I have found dogs respond in the same positive manner as humans (through an herbal “home” business I had for many years).
